Pakistan’s Test and T20 team announced for the tour of Australia by the Pakistan Cricket Board on Monday. Sarfraz Ahmed, who was the captain of the Pakistan team till the recent tour of these two teams, has not been given a place in these two teams. By combining these two teams, five new faces have got a place in the team. In this team, Usman Kadir, son of the legendary googly bowler Abdul Qadir, has also got an opportunity.

Usman Qadir is a leg-spinner like his father and he also bats well. The 26-year-old youngster has been included in Pakistan’s T20 squad. He also played in Australia’s previous Big Bash League and was getting indications that if he does not get a chance to play for Pakistan soon then he will settle in Australia.
Leave of many senior players
Sarfraz Ahmed is not the only senior player to be dropped from the Pakistan team. Apart from them, Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Hafeez, and Ahmed Shehzad and Umar Akmal have also been discharged from the T20 team. In this, batsman Khushdil Shah, fast bowler Moosa Khan, and Usman Qadir were included in the T20 team for the first time. Musa Khan has also got a place in the Test team. Fast bowler Nasim Shah and left-arm spin bowler Kasif Bhatti have also been named in the Test team, while fast bowler Imran Khan Sr. has returned to the Test team.
